Item Number generating work for itself

In D365 Finance and Operations as far as I can tell you can only generate pick kanbans for part numbers referenced in the BOM of the top level part number.
 
Is there a way for me to make the system generate a pick kanban for itself without referencing the BOM? It has to be the same part number and the same rev. I need the warehouse team to deliver a pick to the line of the same part number we are about to make.
