Dear community, I need to send and print a selection of reminders for the clients. In the column "Document sending profile" I have 2 different choise print (STAMPA) and mail. When I select clients in the list with e-mail and stampa BC if the first is e-mail it starts to send mail but stop at first STAMPA and vice versa. Is it possible that BC execute the print when there is stampa and sent email when there is email and not stopping each time?

And why BC does not regist the print date and copy? (See attachment)

Print and send reminders

Hi

In Business Central, the Document Sending Profile is applied per customer/transaction, but the reminder batch process does not handle mixed profiles (Print + Email) in one run. That’s why the process stops when it switches from Email to Print (or vice versa).

➡ To handle this correctly, you need to run the reminder process in two separate batches:

One batch for customers with Email profile.

Another batch for customers with Print (Stampa) profile.

This is the standard design — BC cannot process both methods in a single execution.

Regarding the Print date and copy registration:

BC only registers a “Send” log when the reminder is sent via email.

For printed reminders, there is no automatic log of print date/copies.

If you need tracking for prints as well, it requires a customization/extension to log the print event.
