Configure Security Role for user to only see their Activities and update

I'm trying to configure the security role so this user can create activities but only see what they have created.

Users from another Business Unit enter activities first - then when issue is closed it is transferred to this user's business unit, where they need to be able to enter activities (Tasks) also - but I don't want them to see the history from the other user

I have all the permissions set for user (Test2) in the role for the activities table - what am I missing?  Thank you

@NM-25081547-1  The User who entered the last 2  tasks on this screen shot are in a different team then this logged in user. Shouldn;t they NOT be able to see the other teams tasks?

What you are experiencing is correct and the intended behavior of Activity types entities. Record ownership can be of two types - "Organization", "User or Team". Activities have the type as later. Activities do not have a stand alone behavior as the core records do.

You might want to create custom table with ownership type as "Organization" and achieve what you are looking for.

Security role → Core Records tab:

Activity (ActivityPointer): Read = User, Create = User, Append/Append To = User, Write/Delete = User (as needed).

For each type you use (Task, Phone Call, Email, Appointment, etc.): set the same (Read = User, Create = User …).

    Thanks, Ramesh
