I've been tasked to accommodate a business requirement that would prevent a production order from being created when "Route number" is not specified. Is there a native feature I could configure that would prevent the creation of a production order if no route is defined? I've been searching through Learn and haven't found anything that would perform this type of control but am hoping to get some confirmation/direction from the community.
My goal is to do this through a module configuration of some sort (if possible) and avoid trying to manage the required/mandatory nature of this change via a published view.
I believe that's not possible in standard Dynamics 365 SCM. My advice is to consider a customization and/or to raise an idea on the ideas portal of Microsoft. Link to the ideas portal: https://experience.dynamics.com/ideas/
