Invoice Capture – Vendor Synchronization Fails: Missing prvRead Privilege on vis_vendor

Hello,

When attempting to synchronize vendors from Invoice Capture, the synchronization fails with the following error:

in english : > *"Read Privilege Check For Owner failed with exception: Principal team (Id=5a8cf4b8xxxxxxxxx, type=9, teamType=0, privilegeCount=0, MetadataCachePrivilegesCount=20135, businessUnitId=17db84bb-d045-xxxxxxxx), is missing prvReadvis_Vendor privilege (Id=3988117b-0994-xxxxx) on OTC=14011 for entity 'vis_vendor' (LocalizedName='Fournisseur'). context.Caller=5a603a40-d945-f011-877a-6045bd8e9f74."*

As a result, the vendor list in Invoice Capture remains empty (0 records).

Can anyone please help to resolve this issue, i have assigned to the user the 2 following roles (as mentionned in MS Docs) to synchronise vendors : AP Admin + AP Clerrk

The synchronization fails because the calling principal (a Team) does not have Read permission on the Vendor table (vis_vendor) in Microsoft Dataverse, even

though you assigned roles like AP Admin and AP.

The sync is failing because:

The Team executing the process has zero privileges and cannot read the Vendor table

Assign the correct security role to the Team (not just the user), and the issue will be resolved.
