Sales order Line level shipment date is blank

Sales Order Header level shipment date is available but this date is not showing the sales order line level for some items , refer the screenshot below

This is a new sales order until now we are not stated the shipment ,

Hello Dileep,

This is expected behavior in Business Central: the Shipment Date on the Sales Order header does not automatically update existing sales lines. The header date is only used as a default when new lines are created, so if lines were added earlier or copied from another document they can remain blank or keep their own dates even though the header shows 13/01/2026. To align them, simply update the shipment date on the lines manually or run “Functions → Update Document” to refresh the lines from the header.

Hi, When you modify the shipment date in the header, the following message will pop up, allowing you to update all lines.
