Rounding is Resulting in Different Amounts Depending on What Fields are Involved

We are experiencing a rounding issue on sales order detail lines whenever a Discount % is used.
The source of the issue is with Business Central 25.2 On Premises.
We need Microsoft to change how BC does the math for different fields related to discounts so it’s consistent everywhere when rounding.
I was unable to locate any settings that would help with this.
I didn’t find any articles online related to this.
If they were consistent, I think everything else works itself out down the stream.
When looking at the line, fields ‘Outstanding Amount’ and ‘Discount Unit Price’ were not identical.
They round differently to come to a different amount.

I am editing this post to show the picture below. The yellow indicates two fields that have differences related to rounding.

I have the same question (0)

    Hello,

This behavior is generally related to how Business Central calculates and rounds different sales line fields independently during discount calculations. Fields such as Unit Price, Line Amount, Discount Amount, Discounted Unit Price, and Outstanding Amount may use slightly different rounding logic and decimal precision, which can result in small variances when Discount % is applied.

Unfortunately, there is no single standard setting that fully synchronizes all rounding calculations across every field in BC 25.2 On-Premises. In most cases, companies handle this by reviewing the Amount Rounding Precision, Unit-Amount Rounding Precision, and Invoice Rounding setup in General Ledger Setup and Currency Setup.

    Regards,
