Triggering Quality Inspection Orders Before Goods Receipt in Chemical Industry

Hello,

My client in the chemical industry generally does not perform quality tests on incoming raw materials. Instead, they rely on the results provided in the certificates of analysis. Only for a few specific raw materials do they conduct quality checks. These are performed directly on the truck before unloading. If the material passes the test, it is unloaded; otherwise, it is rejected.

We are exploring whether there is a way to trigger the creation of quality inspection orders before the goods receipt/item arrival is posted. This would also allow for batch attributes to be recorded earlier in the process.

Additionally, the client would like to have a screen that displays quality inspection orders linked to the expected receipt date of the material.

Thank you in advance for your help.
