2We are seeing consistent upgrade failures when upgrading Business Central SaaS environments with Swedish localization (SE) to version 28.0 and 28.1.
Error:
“Update failed with an internal error FirstPartyCompilation”
What we have observed:
- Reproduced across 9 different Swedish localization tenants
- Same error on all affected tenants
- Multiple upgrade attempts across different dates/times
- One Finnish localization tenant upgraded during the same time frame successfully without issues
This currently looks like a possible issue with the Swedish first-party localization apps/packages or dependencies in BC 28.x.
Questions:
- Has anyone else experienced this with SE localization?
- Any known incidents/hotfixes from Microsoft?
- Any workaround or mitigation identified?
Would appreciate any confirmation from other partners/customers before opening/escalating further with Microsoft.
