Sales Quote Not Auto-Archiving in Production (But Works in Sandbox Copy)

In Business Central, I have enabled the Auto Archive setup in Sales & Receivables. When I create a Sales Order from a Sales Quote, the Quote should be automatically archived.

The issue is that in our production environment, the Sales Quote is not being auto-archived — it remains in the list, even though the Sales Order is created successfully.

Interestingly, when we create a sandbox copy of production, the auto-archive works fine in the copied environment.

Sales Quote Not Auto-Archiving in Production (But Works in Sandbox Copy)

The only reason it works in one environment but not another is almost always setup. Version differences can matter, but that’s unlikely here. Please confirm both environments have identical setup, versions and the same extensions installed.

Verify that the "Archiving Sales Quotes" setting in Sales & Receivables Setup is set to "Always" to enable automatic archiving when quotes are deleted or posted.

Can you verify the Sales & Recevables Setup in Production . It should be always , you have cnfigured some other option
