There seems to have been some outage in the UK on the 8th/9th October which triggered a MoveOrganizationWithinIsland and since then our Synapse Link (Gen1) has stopped working (UI says its syncing) and all our data rentention jobs are stuck on Pending Reconciliation.
Since then we have also removed a relationship from a table being sync'd so we can delete the referring table, but there is a row stuck in the Entity Analytics Config table - I'm guessing the removal of the relationship should have triggered the deletion of this row with the dependancy, but the issue has stopped this from happening.
The Synapse Link External Table State is showning failed for the last sync status and a new cds Synapse Link Profile row was added at the exact time everything stopped working.
The support we have received from Microsoft has been the worst in my 20+ years working in IT. Despite me pointing out it was clearly not an issue with our Synapse profile and even the engineer stating the exact minute the last sync ran OK was the minute the new cds profile was created, It took weeks just to get them to admit there was a problem and even now its still not resolved. I'm not receiving regular updates and I have been given no ETA on when it will be fixed.
The support rep said its a known issue impacting multiple customers and multiple environments and they are mitigating it one by one. However, there is nothing listed on the status pages on the Admin Centre or PPAC.
Is anyone else experiencing these issues?
