Dears

We are trying to use data integration tool to integrate D365 Finance and operation on premise with D365 field service cloud environment as below article

but unfortunately we can not find  D365 Finance and operation when we create connection set.

My question is

Can We use power platform data integration between D365 F&O on premise and D365 Field service cloud?

If Yes what can we do or check on to can create connection set?
I have the same question (0)

The Field Service integration with finance and operations applications allows organizations to enable out-of-the-box alignment.
However, this is a preview feature which may have restricted functionality.

    Thanks Judy for your reply.
This mean that We cannot use this feature in our case.

If this question is still relevant, I wouldn’t rely on Power Platform Data Integrator as the easy path for F&O on-prem to Field Service cloud.
If F&O on-prem is not showing up in the connection set, that’s usually not a setup issue but a limitation - on-prem deployments don’t support the same integration model as cloud F&O, and Microsoft has been moving away from those older Data Integrator templates anyway.

In a similar case, we stopped trying to force the native connection-set route and used Skyvia as a separate integration layer between on-prem F&O and the cloud app. That gave us more control over connectivity, mapping, and sync logic without depending on deprecated templates. You can find more information about this approach here.

You cannot directly use Power Platform Data Integration to connect on-premises Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations with cloud Field Service.

Why you don’t see F&O in Connection Set

In Microsoft Power Platform Data Integration:

    Connection sets support:
    • Cloud-based Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations
    • Dataverse / Field Service
    But:
    • On-prem F&O is NOT supported
    • That’s why it doesn’t appear when creating a connection set
Use Azure-based integration (ADF / APIs / DMF) instead

    Recommended Architecture
For your case (On-prem → Field Service):
    • F&O On-Prem → Azure (ADF / SQL / Data Lake) → Dataverse → Field Service
