    Hi,

When you send General Journal Batch the batch is sent for approval not the lines. So 1 batch 1 approval. So if your lines is entered in the Journal batch without error and it has amount ideally it should be part of the batch which is sent for approval.

Using batch approval and no series does not affect the lines.

May be you can explain the issue you are facing to get more specific solutuon.

    Regaeds,
    Dhiren.

    Hello,

Some General Journal lines don’t go to approval because they’re simply not eligible: the line may already be approved/posted, have Amount = 0, miss required fields (Account No., Bal. Account, Posting Date), or fail workflow conditions (amount limits, user setup, journal template/batch filters). Approvals are line-based, so in the same batch some lines can qualify and others not. Reusing the same Document No. can also cause lines to be skipped. Not having a No. Series is not an issue for General Journal approvals.

    Regards,

    Hi,

Approval workflows rely on Document No., Lines without a Document No. are treated as incomplete, so Lines with empty Document No. are skipped

    Check if you that scenario.

That's a very dynamic question to be answered my friend, there could be multiple reasons -
Are you using Batch Approval or Line Approval?
Possibility is you must be using line level approval,  See the line for which system didn't do anything, could be the prerequisites are not fulfilling.

Is there a filter on the page when you sent to approval?

    Thanks.

Journal lines won’t go for approval if the workflow conditions don’t match. Please check the workflow conditions.

Can you explain a bit about what is the exact scenario?

I guess if the Journal Batch workflow is enabled, then each of the entry should go for approval despite having any filters. You need to check your workflow if there are any conditions that are impacting the selection of lines.
