After updating to macOS 26.1 the AL Language extension cannot connect to Business Central API (api.businesscentral.dynamics.com) with error "The SSL connection could not be established, see inner exception. The remote certificate was rejected by the provided RemoteCertificateValidationCallback." This issue started immediately after macOS update - the same configuration worked perfectly before. AAD authentication completes successfully, but metadata download fails every time. System-level curl can access the API without issues, proving the certificate is valid. I've tried disabling SSL verification in VS Code settings, adding .NET environment variables, clearing cache, and reinstalling the extension - nothing works. This is blocking all development work on Business Central for macOS 26.1

    Hello,
     
    This issue is a bug in the AL Language extension on macOS 26.1.
    Your certificates and BC environment are fine, only the AL extension’s internal TLS check fails.
    Nothing you change locally (settings, environment variables, reinstall) can fix it.
    Only working workarounds right now:
    Use Windows / Linux / VM / VS Code Remote, where AL extension works normally.
    Roll back macOS to the previous version.
    You must open a support ticket or GitHub issue so Microsoft can patch the AL extension.
