in the latest version of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, I noticed a new section on the Item Card called Excise Tax.
The section includes fields such as:
Excise tax type
Excise tax unit of measure code
Quantity for excise tax
However, I have not been able to find clear documentation explaining how this feature works, how it should be configured, and what the underlying logic is.
Does anyone know where I can find official documentation or additional information about this functionality?
I would also be interested in understanding whether this feature is related to a specific localization, tax scenario, or upcoming functionality.
