I'm trying to post invoices that flow through Continia into Business Central however I'm getting the following error.  The filter "0000810 SOLO DEEP HOUSING (LINE 1) PACKING 000000000063300 SLIP #" is not valid for the Translate From field on the Data Translation table. An error occurred while interpreting the filter: Did not expect '('.  However this item isn't on the invoice being processed?  And similar error messages are showing up on other vendor invoices?
I have the same question (2)

Continia is a third-party add-on for Business Central and is not part of the standard BC functionality.

For assistance with this issue, I recommend reaching out directly to your implementation partner or contacting Continia support. You can find more information here: www.continia.com

    Hi,

The error you're encountering—“Did not expect '('”—is due to an invalid filter expression in the Data Translation table used by Continia Document Capture in Business Central. Even if the item isn’t on the invoice, the template may still attempt to apply a translation rule based on previously captured or cached data.

As suggested by other experts, it would be best which can save time to firstly connect with Continia team to check this.

    Hello @MV-27081457-0,

Since it’s Continia-specific, the best step is to connect with your Continia partner/support team to resolve your error.

    Regards,

This error is caused by an invalid entry in the Data Translation table where characters like ( or # are not allowed in the filter. Check your Data Translation setup and clean or adjust the rule that contains this value. Even if the item isn’t on the invoice, a faulty translation rule can still be triggered.
