What I’ve already done:
Completed the MCP configuration in Business Central
- Verified that:
- The correct values are entered in the Inputs fields
- The Details fields are also populated correctly
- The MCP server setup itself appears to be complete on the BC side
Issue:
Despite the above, Copilot Studio is unable to retrieve MCP tools and resources, and the connector request fails.
Question:
What could cause Copilot Studio to fail retrieving MCP tools/resources even when the MCP configuration in Business Central is already completed correctly? Are there additional permissions, connector settings, authentication requirements, or endpoint validations that need to be checked?
