Exchange Rate Service not working – how is it configured by others?

Hi everyone,

I’m currently experiencing issues with setting up the exchange rate service in Dynamics 365, as it doesn’t seem to be working in our environment.

I would like to understand how others have configured this successfully.

I’ve also attached a screenshot of our current setup for reference.

Any insights, examples, or best practices would be greatly appreciated.

    I've connected to float rates before, I've never liked using an exchange rate service as if the job queue fails it can cause issues with the wrong rates being used.
     
    If a company does not need to update daily, I would do it manually still, even if the service is running, I would still spend time checking it has updated, which takes as long as entering the rates.
