Can anyone explain the purpose of boolean "report operation as finished" in route group along with an example that it works. I somehow did not find it working.

Thanks

    Hi,
From what I recall, “Report operation as finished” in the route group is only meant to automatically mark a route operation as Finished when the full operation quantity is reported, typically via job card or route card reporting.
For example, if an operation has a quantity of 100 and this flag is enabled, reporting all 100 qty will auto-finish that operation. If only partial quantity is reported, the operation stays open. It also doesn’t finish the production order itself—only the individual operation.
That said, the user can always finish the operation manually, regardless of this setting. The parameter is just a convenience to avoid an extra step when full quantity is reported. Curious to understand your expectation here—were you expecting the production order to be finished automatically, or are you reporting partial quantities / using a different posting flow? Knowing how you’re reporting would help explain why it may look like it’s not working.
