We enabled the Business Central Virtual Entity connection inside Power Apps and cancelled the sync part-way through. Since then, Business Central will not load at all.
Symptoms:
The link https://businesscentral.dynamics.com/ does not open
Business Central Admin Center will not load
No Business Central environments appear anywhere
Dataverse still shows all the Business Central virtual tables, but BC is not accessible
AppSource will not allow BC to be reinstalled
The Power Platform environments that BC touched are stuck in a state where
We cannot delete the Production environment
We cannot convert Production to Sandbox
We cannot remove the broken BC bindings
This happened immediately after enabling and cancelling the Business Central → Dataverse table sync. It appears that the Business Central service object in the tenant is now corrupted/stuck.
We need guidance on how to:
-
Reset the Business Central provisioning state, OR
-
Remove the locked Production environment that BC originally attached to, OR
-
Clear the BC service object so Business Central can be provisioned again
At the moment there is no way to access Business Central and no way to remove the environments that BC is still bound to.
Looking for the correct method to fully reset BC provisioning so we can reinstall Business Central cleanl
