Urgent Assistance Needed – Check Printing Issues

We have been experiencing multiple issues with how our checks are printing in Business Central. The “Pay to the Order of” line is being cut off, the date is not lining up correctly, and checks are also randomly printing on the back side.

I have tried troubleshooting through Google and attempted to export the layout, but I do not appear to have the necessary permissions or ability to do so.

At this point, I really need assistance getting this set up correctly. Please let me know how we can resolve these printing and alignment issues as soon as possible.

Thank you!

    Hello,

All three issues you're facing are related to the Check Layout (RDLC report) configuration in Business Central - and all are fixable!

Text cut-off & date misalignment - Field sizes and positions in the RDLC layout don't match your physical check stock. Adjust them via the RDLC designer and re-upload under Report Layout Selection.

Printing on the back side - This is a duplex/double-sided setting on your printer driver. Simply turn it OFF for your check printer.

Can't export the layout - You'll need your admin to grant Report Layout permissions or have them export, edit, and re-upload the layout on your behalf.

A quick session with your implementation partner would get all of this sorted in one go.

    Hope this helps!

    Regards,
    Mansi Soni
