    Hello,

This error means your on-premises version (BC 25.12) is not compatible with your Business Central online version (BC 27) in the hybrid setup.

Upgrade your on-prem environment to match the same major version as your BC online (version 27).
In SQL, confirm that the database version is set correctly:
    SELECT [applicationversion] FROM [$ndo$tenantdatabaseproperty]

If blank or wrong, update it to the correct version number.
In Cloud Migration Setup, choose the correct product type:
If both versions are the same major version → Dynamics 365 Business Central current version
If on-prem is older → Dynamics 365 Business Central earlier versions

    Regards,
    Oussama Sabbouh

    Hi,

It seems you are currently in BC25.12 (Cumulative update 12).

As per Microsoft compatibility matrix you can upgrade to BC 27.1 or higher.

If you try upgrading to 27.0 on-prem / SaaS it will end with an error message.

    Hope it helps.

    regards,
    Saurav Dhyani

    Hello,

This error means your on-premises database version doesn’t match the version required by Business Central online, usually during migration or hybrid setup.

To fix it, check the database version in SQL (Database Version table) and compare it with the online environment’s version.

If they differ, apply the correct cumulative update and run the database conversion using PowerShell.

Finally, restart the Business Central service and verify your Cloud Migration Setup configuration.
