Sync metafields to shopify

I want to map a custom field in item table to a Shopify product metafield. After product is added in Shopify products page, I have to manually use get metafields for each product. Is there a way to get the metafields, and update the values with the initial product sync to shopify.

Hello,

No, not with standard functionality. The BC Shopify connector does not map custom Item fields to Shopify metafields or handle them during initial product sync. Metafields must be fetched/updated manually or via customization. To auto-update them during product creation, you need AL customization or middleware that runs after the product is created in Shopify and writes the metafield using the Shopify Product ID.
