ReportScenario is When Production order is release to warehouse reservation is done for the product and work order is created thorugh production wave processing. As material is not avialble in that location we have replinishment work created for this Production Work order.
Issue is when that replenishment order is not completed, and if user tries to remove the reservation from Production Order - BOM- Inventory reservation - system allows to remove the reservation though work order is available and open and replenishment work is still open. User dont want this behaviour as this is misleading that even if work is open how system allows to remove the reservation.
we checked, if Replenishment work is completed then system is not allowing to remove the reservation from Prod BOM.
We also tried different update marking option while firming the orders with Standard, Extended, single level standard, single level extended but same result.
Let us know if this is something to be managed by any specific other setups.
