Are Business Central Price List and D365 Sales Price list not Linked in the Integration?

I was trying to sync Price List Items from D365 Sales to BC. I have read that the BC Price List Items (Sales Price) are maintained separately from the D365 Sales Price List Items. Also, there's no Sync option for the Sales Prices in BC and the Standard mapping doesn't include that table. Can anyone confirm if this is correct? Any references would be very helpful. Thanks!

Sales Price and Product Price List is included in the standard synchronization. Make sure you have Sales Prices with Customer Price Groups and Sales Codes defined.
