We are currently testing the Sales Integration between Dynamics 365 Business Central and Dynamics 365 CRM, with plans to enable it in our Production environments. Both systems are cloud-based and have been in use for several years.
I'm looking for clarification on how sandbox restores impact the integration between the two systems:
- If a Business Central sandbox is restored from Production, will that sandbox remain connected to the Production CRM environment?
- Similarly, if a CRM sandbox is restored from Production, will it remain connected to the Production Business Central environment?
My goal is to understand whether restoring either side could unintentionally reconnect to Production, or if additional steps are required to reconfigure or isolate the integration in sandbox environments.
Any guidance or best practices from those who have through this is greatly appreciated!
