I have two Sandbox Environment for my stakeholder. The same extension was deployed in both environment. One environment has an CopyDocument action in Sales Order and Purchase Order for the same user bt other Environment was not having CopyDocument action.

I checked over Personalize options and in My extension too. Unable to found there.

In Personlize option, the Actions is about to visible there as attached below. But When I close personlaize page it cannot found.

Can any one suggest me best solution for this ?

Re: Copy Document action from Sales Order
    Hi,

You can do the following steps to diagnose the issue.

1 - Go to the Sales Order or any document card page, click on the Tell me(Alt + Q) and search the terms "Copy Document". If the action shows up under the "On this page" section that means the action is there and enabled you just need to find it under the menues or you can promote it from code or personalization.

2- Try to reset all the personalization and Customization from User Settings and Profile(Roles) page. Go the page again and follow step -1.

3 - Go and Check the permissions for this user. As this is Sandbox we are talking so try giving SUPER permission and check. If works assign appropriate permission. You can use Record permission function as well.

4 - If you still could not find it, it is probably because it may be hidden by any of the extension it may be PTE or DEV extension. So go to extension management search for all the extensions of type PTE or DEV and uninstall it. Go to the page and follow step -1.

Re: Copy Document action from Sales Order
    Hi,

If the action appears during Personalize but disappears after, it’s usually due to profile-level customization or page customization applied in one environment but not the other.
     Fix:
    • Compare Profiles (Roles) in both environments.
    • Reset personalization or profile customization for the affected page.

Re: Copy Document action from Sales Order

Yes, this can happen even if Personalize shows the action as “visible.” Business Central can still hide actions for a few different reasons. Here’s how to think about it step by step:

    1. Check the simple stuff first
      • On the Sales Order or Purchase Order page, click … More options → Actions. Sometimes “Copy Document” is there but just not promoted.
      • Use the Tell Me (Alt+Q) search and type Copy Document. If it shows up there, it means the action exists but isn’t pinned to your menu.
    2. Reset personalization
      • Go to Personalize → Clear personalization for that page. If it shows up afterwards, it was hidden by your previous layout.
    3. Permissions are the #1 culprit
      • The “Copy Document” action runs certain reports and codeunits. If the user doesn’t have EXECUTE permission for those, the action won’t show at all.
      • Quick test: assign the user SUPER in the sandbox where it’s missing, refresh the page, and see if the action comes back. If it does → it’s a permissions issue.
    4. Profiles & Role Centers
      • Make sure the user has the same Role/Role Center in both sandboxes (check My Settings).
      • Sometimes a profile customization hides the button. You can clear profile customizations for that page to fix it.
    5. Other extensions
      • Even if your extension is the same in both places, there might be an extra extension in one environment that’s hiding or moving the action. Use Page Inspection (Ctrl+Alt+F1) to compare what extensions are affecting the page.
