Hi:
In a Sandbox, I took my first "stab" at using Design to add a field to a screen. I was successful in doing so.
Later, I was told that this light customization needed to be done slightly differently in that sandbox.
So, I went to Extension Management and uninstalled the original customization.
Then, I redid Design. Upon being prompted to publish, I called the extension by the same original name and was told that I couldn't do so.
Then, BC refreshed before I had a chance to publish under a different name.
So, I went back to Extension Management and unpublished the original extension.
When I tried Design yet again, it told me that there was an error. BC refreshed ,and a page told me that something was wrong.
I'm having my developer create another copy of the sandbox, so that I can start over.
I'll keep in mind not to publish under the same name. But, wouldn't uninstalling the extension allow the same name to be used?
Regardless, why did BC refresh before I had the chance to give the extension a different name?
