MSM in managed environment

We have MSM installed in non managed environment. However, to implement IP filtering, there is a requirement to convert the environment to managed environment. Will there be any negative impact if an existing MSM production environment is converted to managed environment? Is there any pre-conversion tasks or checklist available?

    Hi PowerSoumyo,

Functionally, there is no impact. You will gain from more governance features. You will need to check for a possible license impact as managed environments are on a premium tier: Licensing - Power Platform | Microsoft Learn

For converting an unmanaged to a managed environment, there are no pre-requisites. You can switch it by changing the setting on the environment in PPAC.
