Best Practice for Printing on Pre-Printed A4 Checks Using RDLC in Business Central

We have a requirement to print data on pre-printed A4 checks. The checks already contain company information (logo and address) in the top-left corner.Currently, the base RDLC report also includes this company header, which causes alignment issues when printing on the pre-printed checks.

To resolve this, we plan to modify the base RDLC report by removing the top-left company address/header and adjusting the layout so that the remaining data aligns correctly with the pre-printed check format.
Since both the BC base report and the client’s pre-printed check are A4, they can be aligned into a single printable layout.
One option we are considering is using Custom Report Selection to create a modified version of the base RDLC report specifically for pre-printed checks.

Question:

Is using Custom Report Selection with a modified RDLC layout the recommended approach for this scenario, or is there a better/best-practice solution for handling pre-printed checks in Business Central?
