In my business production sandbox, I am getting an error when trying to release production orders, item journals, transfer orders, and sales invoices. I have already restarted the environment, cleared all user sessions, turned off automatic cost posting, and changed the automatic cost adjustment setting from “Always” to “Day” as shown below.

Despite these efforts, the error is still occurring. Please assist urgently, as my clients are getting frustrated.

Database Lock in Business Central 27

Hello,

Your posting errors likely come from stuck cost adjustment or posting queues in Business Central.
Run Adjust Cost - Item Entries manually, clear any failed Job Queue Entries, and ensure your Inventory Setup matches (cost posting and G/L accounts).
If still failing, update to the latest BC cumulative build, as known issues exist in v26–27.
