Hello

Can you mix and match Teams member and/or Device licences with Premium licences in the same company (same environment)?

I am aware that it cannot be done with Essentials and Premium in that it cannot be mixed together but in a manufacturing environment it is not unreasonable to have a warehousing function that runs with scanners that would only require a device license.

Hello,

Yes, you can mix Premium, Team Member, and Device licenses within the same Business Central environment because Team Member and Device licenses apply at the user level, not the environment level.

The only restriction is that you cannot mix Essentials and Premium, as that choice defines the functionality for the entire environment.

This means a manufacturing company can run Premium for core users while assigning Device licenses for shared warehouse scanners and Team Member licenses for light-access users.

Yes you can mix between them, but you cannot mix between premium and essential
