Has anyone came across this requirement?
Resource A, onshore job - unit of measure Hour, offshore job - unit of measure Day
In the project, I created 5 project planning lines, 3 are with work type code 'Onshore', another 2 are with work type code 'offshore'
I have created unit conversion as 7.5 hours = 1 Day
In the resource card, the base unit of measure is Hour.
In the time sheet, when I created a line with offshore, there is an error message ----- I must enter Hour as unit of measure in Work type code Offshore.
However, when I set the unit of measure in Work type code Offshore, I go back to the project planning plan, I created a new line with work type code Offshore and choose the unit of measure as day, there is an error message as the unit of measure Hour in the work type code.
I can't use different unit of measure once the default has been setup in work type code.
The user would like use different unit of measure for the same resource in both project and timesheet.
