Hi:

Is there a batch job that can be created to run every two minutes in Business Central when Sales Order line items are posted and shipped?

The job would show (a) any remaining line items as back orders and, at the same time, (b) automatically print the picking instruction report that shows what line items have been back ordered.

There isn't anything out of the box that does specifically what you are asking but yes you could use a job queue for this. What you would need to do is create a new codeunit via a customization to manage specifically back orders and the scenario you described. You would want to work with a developer to design the job queue you are describing.
