Replacement for WMSStoreArea / WMSInputAreaId in Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management

Hi,

We are currently migrating some customizations from AX 2012 to Dynamics 365 and we have a question regarding the WMSStoreArea / WMSInputAreaId concept.

In AX 2012 we were using the field WMSInputAreaId (based on the table WMSStoreArea) to store the input area of the warehouse for a specific process.

In Dynamics 365 we noticed that:

- The field WMSInputAreaId still exists in the table design but it is marked as obsolete.

- The table WMSStoreArea is also deprecated.

- The field is not available in the standard user interface anymore.

So we like to know what is the recommended replacement in D365 SCM for the concept previously handled by WMSStoreArea / WMSInputAreaId?

The field is WMSInputAreaId and the table is InventTestInstrument.
