I'm facing an error, when trying financial Power BI connections after the update to Version 27.0.
I’ve hit a snag to do with permissions.
My research suggests I need access to view and edit the

- Table Data: G/L Account (15) – Read permission.
- Page: Chart of Accounts (560) – Access to view the list.

I want to be sure that we only grant me this access not all business manager role users. (Several people have that role and
I certainly don’t want to give them all this level of access.)
Research excerpts:
The error message indicates that Power BI cannot process the dataset because the column G/L Account No. in the table G/L Account contains a duplicate value (110). This is problematic because:
- The column is being used on the one side of a many-to-one relationship or as a primary key, which requires unique values.
- Duplicate values break the integrity of relationships in the data model.
In Business Central, access to view or edit G/L Accounts depends on the permission sets assigned to a user.
How do I go about addressing this?
