Inconsistency error related to WHT app in BC28 preview

When testing new WHT app for BC28 preview, which is pretty much a copy of AU/NZ solution, I've encountered an inconsistency error when posting a payment for a purchase invoice with WHT due. I'm using BC28 preview, GB Cronus.

I saw article about similar issue in AU solution (Ariestya's blog), but it doesn't help in this case.

Does anyone had time to take a look on it?

Hello,

I haven’t tested that exact scenario yet, but based on what Microsoft has published, I’d treat this first as a BC28 preview issue in the new standard WHT feature, not as proof that your setup is wrong. Withholding tax for vendors is brand new in BC28 and still in public preview, so posting inconsistencies around payment application wouldn’t surprise me, especially if you’re testing in GB Cronus with an app copied from AU/NZ logic rather than the final Microsoft-delivered flow. In this case I’d try to reproduce it in the standard preview app with the smallest possible scenario, and if it still fails, log it through the BC preview bug form because Microsoft explicitly asks for preview issues there. So yes, I’d lean toward preview bug / unfinished behavior unless someone has already confirmed a specific setup step that avoids it.
