Warehouse App SO Picking - The serial id is not valid

Hello All,
 
Good day. We are currently doing some SO Picking using the Warehouse App in D365 and when the prompt for to scan a serial we are faced with an error "The serial id is not valid". Has anyone encountered this kind of issue before in warehouse mobile application in D365? Thanks.
