Hello

I am facing an issue with product images in Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations and would appreciate your guidance.

I uploaded a product image (600 × 600 px) through the Released product page using the Related information > Attachments option. The image appears correctly in the product form; however, when I view the same item in the Sales Quotation, the image looks pixelated and has poor resolution.

I have tried the following actions, but the issue persists:

  • Attached the image at both the Product and Released Product levels
  • Re-uploaded the image multiple times
  • Attempted to upload images using Data Management (which previously worked, but is no longer effective

At this point, I am unsure whether:

  • I am using the correct method to upload product images, or
  • There are specific image requirements (size, format, or configuration) that must be followed for proper display in sales documents

For reference, I followed the Microsoft documentation below:
https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/supply-chain/pim/tasks/add-image-product

Could you please advise on:

  1. The correct method to ensure high-quality images appear in Sales Quotations
  2. Any required image specifications or system configurations
  3. Whether this behavior is expected or a potential issue in the system

Thank you for your support.

What exactly do you mean by "I view the same item in the Sales Quotation"? Your last screenshot suggests that you actually don't mean an image shown in the sales quotation form, but that you mean printing an SSRS report to PDF and looking at the PDF file in F&O. If it's the case, please open the file in Adobe Acrobat or so and tell us whether the problem is in the file itself, or the report looks fine there and your problem is in the PDF viewer inside F&O. Also, please tell us which report it is.
