Posting date need to modify from posted sales invoice

Hi Team,
 
One of client posted the wrong data in BC. and now they want to change the posting date from posted sales invoice. Is there any way other than creating the credit memo they cannot create the credit memo because they had 500 invoices where they want to correct the posting date from the posted sales invoices. Please suggest me the best way to fig this if I can do customization then what would be best approach to customize.

    It is not possible to change the posting date, the invoices should be credited and reinvoiced

    Hello,
    No, not in standard BC you generally can’t just change the Posting Date on an already posted sales invoice. Microsoft’s supported approach is to Correct/Cancel the invoice if it’s still eligible, or create a sales credit memo and then repost with the correct date; directly editing posted invoice dates or ledger entries is not a good customization because it breaks the audit trail and can leave G/L, customer, VAT, and item entries inconsistent. For 500 invoices, the practical customization is to build a batch AL process that automatically reverses the posted invoices using the supported correction flow and recreates/posts them with the right posting date, instead of trying to update posted records in place.
