I'm setting up vendor bank account on vendor card. It asks for information that is not obvious to me:
- Bank Code: this is apparently a three digit code but I have no idea what it corresponds to on this US based Wells Fargo account.
- Bank Branch No: I know that this one isn't necessary
- Bank Account No: I have this number
- Transit No: I thought that this was the same as the routing number, but a web search gives me several articles that say transit number and routing number are not the same thing.
Can anyone help me with the three-digit "Bank Code," and the Transit number?
