Dear All,

How do we feedback bug / improvement suggestion to Microsoft on the BC?

we have an issues for drop shipment cases, where the location code appear in the PO listing is not valid.

1. This customer most of the time purchase from our warehouse, so in customer card, the location code is set to our warehouse name

2. But there are some order from this client which is drop shipment. for such case, the location code in the PO listing is taken from the customer card. and there is no way to change the location code in the PO listing to reflect that it is a drop shipment rather from our warehouse.

3. I did a further test, when i change the location code in the customer card. the PO listing location code will become blank.

I have the same question (0)

    Good morning CKY,

to report a bug in BC, you could open a support request through the following link: Support for business (microsoft.com)

to provide feedback/improvement suggestions, you can create an Idea in the following one: Ideas (dynamics.com)

    I hope it helps,

RE: Purchase Order Listing Location Code

    CKY,

Adding to what Vanessa wrote, the Drop Shipment process, as it relates to the PO and SO, performs the following actions:

    1. SO and PO are linked on each SO Line and PO Line Drop Shipment

    2. Regardless of Location Code, when the PO is Post-Received, the SO is auto-Post-Shipment. The location is irrelevant since the PO Receiving brings the item in and the SO Shipment ships it out during processing.

The PO should denote the Customers address to Receive the items. Are you processing the Drop Shipment setting in the Sales Order Line, Purchasing Code? On the PO Line, did you pull in Drop Shipment and the Drop Shipment boolean is flagged?

Test this out. Hope this help.

    Thanks,
