Hi Expert,

I had delete all the No Series and re-create new set number.

I had been assign the No. Series to all the setup, when I create a new customer or vendor it show the error msg :-

The no. series does not exist. identification fields and values: Codes='CONT'

Error Code: DB:RecordNotFound

NoSeriesManagement(CodeUnit 396).InitSeries line 10 - Base Application by Microsoft
"CustCont-Update"(CodeUnit 5056).InsertNewContact line 32 - Base Application by Microsoft
"CustCont-Update"(CodeUnit 5056).OnInsert line 6 - Base Application by Microsoft
Customer(Table 18).OnInsert(Trigger) line 19 - Base Application by Microsoft

May I know how to resolve this issue ?

You can refer to the below link for Setting up Business Central:

You can also refer to below list of videos for setting up the company and other setup groups in Business Central:

usedynamics.com/.../

As YUN ZHU suggested do require setup for Customers and Vendors from the below setup pages:

"Sales & Receivables Setup"

"Purchases & Payables Setup".

If you want to deep dive into this issue, start the debugging and then perform any action you will get the actual cause and then easily you can identify the issue and respective solution.

Hi, this still seems to be a setup problem.

For new customer, check Sales & Receivables Setup page

For new vendor, check Purchases & Payables Setup.

Hi

Check on Marketing setup, this No. series is required in the list if exists there.
