Sales & Marketing - Automatic order holds

Hi All,

I want to apply the Automatic Order hold on Sales order and Return orders with Hold code of Manager's review as soon as the Sales / Return order gets created.

Can anyone suggest if it is possible in standard way or needs a customization.

    Hi,

    I don't think any f such functionality exists in D365FO.  You will need to get the customizations done. You can also check if Power automate can be used for this.

    Hi Rajesh,

    For sales order, you can start with an order type 'Journal' which is a possible, but not perfect workaround. Otherwise, you will indeed need a customization as mentioned by Vinit.
