Bank Rec Statement Numbers

We went in to Dec 23 bank rec, clicked Undo so we can clear out two items. Jan 24 was already done. It then gave Dec statement #33. Now I cannot start Feb 24 because it says /#33 is already used/, (Jan is #32). I get the same message when I try to undo Jan.

If I delete them & start over it says that the bank entry lines will stay closed so they will not show. Any way around this?

When you click undo for a bank rec., in the Bank Account Reconciliations Page you can then click on Change Statement No. You can use this to change your December statement back to 31.

Alternatively, before creating the February bank rec., on the bank account card you can change what the next bank statement number will be. For example, change the Last Statement No. to 33 so February will be 34
