Item Number Range is Misleading

Hi:

Please look at the screenshot below.

This filter range is incorrect. It's giving all item numbers in between 81 and 85 -- not simply 81, 82, 83, 84, and 85 like I'm trying to get.

Yes, this would be better but it's not practical: 81|82|83|84|85.

What is?

Hi, to filter only specific values like 81 through 85, you can use the OR operator (e.g., 81|82|83|84|85) or wildcards (e.g., 8? to get only 2-digit numbers starting with 8 which might populate values up to 89 but since the field is treated as a string these two methods might work out for you).

Since this is a code field it will filter for all the values starts with that, if that is number you would get the results you expected, but as others mentioned you have to use | to filter individually.

To filter specific item numbers like 81 through 85 in Business Central, you can use:
The OR operator: 81|82|83|84|85 This will return only those exact values.

Keep in mind that since the field is treated as a string, ranges like 81..85 may pull unexpected values, so exact filtering works best with |.
