Upgrade BC14 to BC23 UpdateVATEntries error

Hi,

I'm upgrading customers database from BC14 OnPrem to BC23 OnPrem. For some reasons this is the steps:

BC14 -> BC15.3 -> BC201.8 -> BC23.5

I've done the steps on database A without problem(haven't tested all functions but I can login to BC and it seems to be working fine). But when I do same steps on database B(that should have same code) I get stuck on the step BC20.18 -> BC23.5 and this specific task:

Start-NAVAppDataUpgrade -ServerInstance $BC23ServerIntance -Name /Base Application/ -Version 23.5.16502.16757

First I thought that the problem was network related when looking at the error. But when trying again 2-3 times it always says same error which mentions VAT:

Hi

have you checked the event viewer?
If you restart the service, or the SQL?
You can extend the blocking time of the SQ L in the BC service

Thanks gdrenteria!

I changed SqlCommandTimeout from 30 min to 60 min. The VAT part of the upgrade took more than 30 minutes.
