Hello,

I need advise on how to copy the company setup and configurations without the transactions data and entries from the existing company. I like a fresh company with ZERO entries but would like to have the same chart of account, currency, languages, tax setups  and groups and so on.

Highly appreciate the help
I have the same question (1)

Hi, there is no easy way except Configuration Package.

Or you can try Master data management.

    Hope this helps.
    Thanks.

Hi, as YZ already stated... there is only pain in this question: it must be done through a configuration package.

I use such conf pack for every distint version, allowing me to 'extract and deploy setup' swiftly.
I have such package for BC19 up to BC22... for every version is different, obviously.

And then again... this package contains the tables for standard BC only.
If you are using 3-rd party extensions... these setups need to be extracted as well.
In case there is additional customerapp customization, you will need to provide these tables (or worse... additional fields in standard tables) as well.

Long story short... i can provide you with a list of BC tables that must be included at all times.... but as mentioned, that is only part of the solution.

If this is a fresh implementation in BC Online on the current version, I would recommend you look into using master data mangement for this case,
    Please refer to this documentation:

Working with the configuration packages can be troublesome if you are not experienced in using them,.
