Hi!, experts.

I would like to restrict change roles function at My Setting menu below for specific user.
After assigning a Role for user by admin, I want for user can not change their role for themselves.
How can I do that.

Hope your suggestions,
Nobuhara

Hopefully the following posts can give you some hints.
Dynamics 365 Business Central: Controlling access to My Settings (Role, Company, Work date…)
Dynamics 365 Business Central: How to easily hide/disable the AssistEdit button – Customization
Dynamics 365 Business Central: Controlling user access to the setups in the Settings menu (Personalize, Design, My Settings, Company information, Assisted setup, Advanced Settings, Admin Center) – No customization

    Thanks.

Without customization, only a super user can switch roles and companies. You should be able to control this through permissions and permission sets

The best way to do this would be to use permissions to restrict a specific user from opening the Available Roles page.

    Thank you for your information.

Can I restrict "Available Roles" list personally instead of restrict change role?
For example, some user can select ten roles, but some user can select only three roles in the available roles lisy?

This can be done using the security filter in permissions.
But this requires setting up multiple permission sets.
    Hope the following helps.

    Thanks.
