No update allowed : quality orders related are still opened

I have quality orders automatically generating for POs after posting the product receipt. The quality orders are generated by serial number. So if I have a serialized PO line quantity of 10, I will have 10 serials and 10 quality orders. Setups shown below.

When I try to validate one of the quality orders after failing it, I get the error: No update allowed : quality orders related are still opened. This is because it still sees the other 9 quality orders for that PO line still open. In addition, I cannot multi select quality orders and close them all at once. Has anyone experience this or have a workaround?

Appreciate the help!

There is no short cut for bulk selection or updates. May be try reducing quality orders with sampling 10 % instead of 100%

    Hello Zarad21,

I have just configured to test your problem and managed to Validate a quality order from a set of three without issues.

    - Item Sampling: here is the one I used:

    - Quality Association:  I configured to trigger the QO on registration of the specific Item.  Note that no event is blocked. I have also tested with Quality Association trigger being After Product Receipt and found that it did not impeded the process of validating the QO (test failure or pass)

You did not show the setup for your test group.  Not sure if the failure or pass of you test i smeant to update an inventory status.  In  my case, here is the Test Group configuration:

I received a PO with one line of the BBCV item for a quantity of 3 ea.  This generated three QO (either triggered by Registration or by Product Receipt).

I tested several times. The only issue I had was when validating a Quality Order that had failed. That was because I had received in a Warehouse Process Enabled warehouse and that the Test Group configuration was to change the Inventory Status on failure.  Since you cant mix inventory status on the same LP and I had received the 3 x BBCV on teh same LP, the system did not allow changing the inventory status.  To bypass that I unchecked the "Update Inventory Status" when validating and the QO status went to :"Fail":

All this to say that I could not replicate your issue.

Do you have any development that affects quality orders?  Do you have other processes (Quarantine manegement) or WMS Work Templates that are triggered by a Quality Order?

    Kind regards,

    Danny

Thanks for your detailed reply Danny!

I was able to get my hands on a demo environment and it worked for me. Our dev around quality orders is very light but we need to do further investigation.
